Dès “We All Die Anyway”, ça tabasse direct : riffs incisifs, batterie ultra-punchy, et Jesse Barnett qui hurle avec une intensité folle. Le groupe garde son ADN hardcore, mais injecte juste ce qu’il faut de mélodie pour que ça cogne tout en restant accrocheur.

The guest features? Easily one of the album’s strongest points. Scott Vogel (Terror) brings his signature fury to “Who Needs Who”, while Connie Sgarbossa (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) cranks up the chaos on “H84U”, closing the album in absolute carnage.

Production-wise, this thing slaps. The guitars are razor-sharp, the bass is thick as hell, and the breakdowns… man, they hit like a freight train. Guaranteed headbanger material. But beyond the sonic brutality, the lyrics stay deeply personal and socially aware, staying true to what Stick To Your Guns has always stood for.

Personal favorite? “Permanent Dark”. A perfect build-up, an insanely effective chorus, and a breakdown that makes you question your entire existence. Absolute gem.

Les feats sont clairement l’un des gros points forts de cet album. Scott Vogel (Terror) vient poser sa rage sur “Who Needs Who”, pendant que Connie Sgarbossa (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) amène un côté encore plus chaotique à “H84U”, qui clôture l’album en beauté.

Côté prod, ça envoie du lourd. Les guitares sont tranchantes, la basse bien grasse, et les breaks… pfff, une tuerie. Ça fait secouer la tête à coup sûr. Mais derrière la violence sonore, les paroles restent ultra sincères et engagées, fidèle à l’esprit du groupe.

Mon coup de cœur ? “Permanent Dark”. Une montée en puissance parfaite, un refrain ultra efficace et un break qui te fait tout remettre en question. Un bijou.
