Cian Ducrot hits the stage running, and man, does he deliver! From the very first note, he grabs the audience’s attention with his flawless vocals and crisp sound. Before his final song, he takes a moment to thank the crowd: “Thank you all, you’re absolutely amazing! We’ll be back in September!” The venue erupts in cheers. C’est Cian Ducrot qui ouvre le bal, et le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est qu’il n’a pas déçu. Dès les premières notes, il capte l’attention avec une voix impeccable et un son incroyablement bon. Le public, conquis d’entrée de jeu, accompagne chaque chanson avec enthousiasme. Les applaudissements et les cris fusent, preuve que l’artiste irlandais a su trouver son public ici aussi.

Avant la dernière chanson, il prend un moment pour remercier la foule : « Merci à vous, vous êtes vraiment incroyables, on revient en septembre ! » Des hurlements retentissent, et, en guise d’apothéose, il invite la fosse à sauter avec lui dans une explosion d’énergie. “Make some noise for the incredible Teddy !” lance-t-il avant de quitter la scène sous une ovation bien méritée.

Teddy Swims: A Show-Stopping Performance

After a moment of nail-biting anticipation, the lights cut out. The curtain drops, and BOOM, Teddy Swims appears at the top of the set, greeted by a deafening roar from the audience. Backed by three powerhouse backup singers and a breathtaking firework display, the show kicks off with Not Your Man, a bold choice that sends the energy levels through the roof.

From the first few songs, the magic is in full swing. The entire crowd is swaying, and in between tracks, Teddy greets his fans with warmth: “Hey everybody! Thank you so much, I’m glad to be back in your beautiful city!” He takes the time to introduce his band, his “best friends”, and gives a heartfelt shout-out to his crew, acknowledging their hard work behind the scenes.

As the show progresses, the intensity only builds. At one point, the bright halo lighting the stage transforms into a massive screen, setting the scene for a show-stopping duet with one of his backup singers. The crowd goes wild when the bassist steps up for a technical solo that absolutely shreds.

Trois choristes l’accompagnent, et en fond, un feu d’artifice éclate. La scénographie est immédiatement bluffante. Il entame son concert avec Not Your Man, un choix percutant qui met immédiatement le public en ébullition.

Dès les premières chansons, la magie opère. Tout le monde se dandine et, entre deux morceaux, Teddy salue chaleureusement la foule : « Hey everybody! Thank you so much, I’m glad to be back in your beautiful city! » Il prend même le temps de présenter ses musiciens, qu’il appelle ses “best friends”, et de remercier toute son équipe, insistant sur le travail incroyable qu’ils fournissent.

Le show continue de monter en intensité. À un moment, le halo lumineux qui dominait la scène se transforme en écran géant, et un de ses choristes masculins le rejoint pour un featuring à couper le souffle. Après ce moment fort, Teddy met à l’honneur son bassiste qui enchaîne sur un solo technique acclamé par la foule.

When Devil in a Dress kicks in, the crowd loses it. “Paris, make some noise!” Teddy yells, and within seconds, thousands of phones light up the venue. His two guitarists move to the front, while Teddy proudly reveals a huge “Paris” patch on the back of his jacket. Then, in a cinematic moment, he climbs to the top of the set and vanishes into the stage floor.

The transition into Bad Dreams is seamless, with cloudy, ethereal visuals setting the mood, followed by Funeral, where a rain-soaked backdrop adds to the emotion. Clearly in his element, Teddy even kicks off his shoes, proving that comfort > style. In a sweet gesture, he spends most of What More Can I Say signing autographs for fans, a rare level of intimacy that speaks volumes about his character.

The concert is a perfect balance of raw power and deep emotion. Before launching into Black & White, Teddy delivers a moving speech: “This song is about love, and love is not about skin color… love is love!” He’s soon joined by his female backup singer for an electrifying duet, her voice just as mesmerizing as his.

Quand Devil in a Dress résonne, c’est un raz-de-marée : « Paris, make some noise! » lance-t-il, et tous les téléphones se lèvent. Les deux guitaristes le rejoignent à l’avant de la scène, tandis que Teddy exhibe fièrement un énorme patch “Paris” sur le dos de sa veste. Il grimpe alors en haut du décor et, dans un effet de mise en scène spectaculaire, disparaît dans le sol.

L’enchaînement est parfait avec Bad Dreams, où un décor nuageux sublime l’ambiance, suivi de Funeral, accompagné cette fois d’un décor pluvieux du plus bel effet. Teddy, visiblement à l’aise, se met même à chanter pieds nus – confort avant le style ! Dans un geste adorable, il passe une bonne partie de What More Can I Say à signer des autographes pour ses fans, tendus par un cowboy posté à la crash barrière. Une proximité rare, qui témoigne de sa bienveillance.

Le concert alterne puissance et moments d’émotion. Sur Black & White, Teddy introduit la chanson avec un discours touchant : « This song is about love, and love is not about skin color… love is love! » Sa choriste le rejoint pour un duo intense, révélant une voix tout aussi incroyable que la sienne.

Then comes one of the most touching moments of the night. Teddy sits on the edge of the stage with his band, getting real with the crowd. “Music saved my life. I was broken, physically, mentally. Thank you for being here and supporting me. I started therapy, and now I feel so much better… Oh, and by the way, I’m gonna be a dad! Thank you so much for being here for me!” The crowd lights up, and the emotions are at an all-time high.

Then, the mood shifts. Loose Control kicks in, and at this point, all hell breaks loose. I’m screaming at the top of my lungs! The entire venue is jumping, hands in the air, belting every lyric. The energy is off the charts, and Teddy is giving it 200%. The stands literally shake under the stomping feet of a crowd gone wild.

The night is full of unexpected moments, thick fog rolling onto the stage for an atmospheric setup, an American jukebox-style backdrop for Tell Me, a red-hot guitar solo, and even a hilarious skit where Teddy appears at the top of the set, rocking oversized glasses and sitting on a toilet. His sense of humor is on point.

J’étais brisé physiquement, mentalement… Merci d’être là et de me soutenir. J’ai commencé une thérapie, et maintenant je vais tellement mieux… Je vais d’ailleurs être papa! merci infiniement d’etre venu ce soir » La fosse est illuminée, l’émotion est à son comble.

Le concert prend alors une nouvelle tournure avec Loose Control, et là, plus rien ne peut retenir le public. Je m’époumone littéralement ! Tout le monde saute, hurle les paroles, les mains levées en rythme. L’énergie est à son paroxysme. Teddy, en osmose avec son public, se donne à 200%, et les gradins tremblent sous les coups répétés des spectateurs déchaînés. Une pure explosion d’émotions et de puissance vocale.

La suite du concert est un enchaînement de moments spectaculaires : fumée sur scène pour une scénographie atmosphérique, décor de juke-box à l’américaine pour Tell Me, solo de guitare enflammé et même un passage humoristique où Teddy apparaît en haut du décor, affublé de lunettes excentriques… assis sur des toilettes ! L’autodérision est au rendez-vous.

One of the most epic moments of the night comes when he introduces an interactive game: two balls are tossed into the crowd, and whichever numbers are drawn, a mystery song is picked from the jukebox. Tonight’s lucky spin? Use Somebody by Kings of Leon, and the crowd eats it up.

The encore is pure adrenaline. On Bed on Fire, the crowd is losing their minds. The stands are shaking, the pit is roaring, it’s absolute madness. Then comes the grand finale: The Door. The audience takes over the last chorus, singing it so loud that Teddy lets them carry the moment. A storm of confetti rains down, and Teddy wraps it up with a heartfelt:

“Paris, thank you so much! Thank you, thank you, I love you!!!” As he vanishes from the stage, the venue explodes in applause.

Ce soir, c’est Use Somebody de Kings of Leon qui résonne, pour le plus grand plaisir des fans.

Le rappel est électrique. Sur Bed on Fire, la foule est en transe. « Ça tape fort en gradins, ça hurle en fosse ! » Le dernier morceau, The Door, est un feu d’artifice final. Le public hurle les paroles, si bien que c’est lui qui chante le dernier refrain. Pluie de confettis en guise d’adieu, et Teddy conclut par un vibrant « Paris, thank you so much! Thank you, thank you, I love you!!! » avant de disparaître sous les acclamations.

Walking out of the venue, the excitement is still buzzing in the air. Everyone is raving about the performance they just witnessed. Teddy Swims delivered a spectacular show, blending insane vocal power, emotional depth, and a stadium-level production.

Un concert inoubliable

En quittant la salle, impossible de ne pas entendre les discussions exaltées. Tous sont impressionnés par la prestation qu’ils viennent de voir. Teddy Swims a offert un show grandiose, alternant prouesses vocales, moments de communion et explosions scéniques. Un concert qui marque les esprits, et qui donne envie d’une seule chose : le revoir, encore et encore.

Un immense merci à Teddy Swims, à ses incroyables choristes et musiciens, qui ont livré une performance magistrale, ainsi qu’au public parisien, particulièrement chaud et bienveillant tout au long de la soirée. Et bien sûr, un grand bravo à Live Nation, qui a orchestré ce concert d’une main de maître. Une soirée inoubliable qu’on a déjà hâte de revivre !
