Straight out of San Francisco, they deliver a solid set in front of an audience that, for the most part, doesn’t know them.

But that doesn’t stop them from grabbing everyone’s attention with their energy and sharp, punchy tracks.

Tout droit venu de San Francisco, le groupe livre une prestation plus qu’honnête devant un parterre de spectateurs qui, pour la plupart, ne les connaissent pas.

Malgré cela, ils parviennent à captiver l’attention du public grâce à leur énergie et à leurs morceaux efficaces.

Une belle entrée en matière !

Next up, and not just any band: L.S. Dunes, a true supergroup!
With members from My Chemical Romance, Circa Survive, and Saosin, no less!

Coming straight from Chicago, they unleash their post-hardcore/emo sound on a crowd that already includes plenty of fans.

L’Olympia is on fire as the set progresses. Anthony Green has the crowd in the palm of his hand, radiating energy and madness, an absolute frontman! He even jumps into the pit, much to the delight of the front rows.

Crowd surfing picks up throughout the set.

And what a set! Relentless intensity and energy, mixing tracks from both their debut and latest album. A perfectly executed 45-minute performance. The sound is massive, the band plays hard, really hard.

“Grey Veins” is absolutely lethal live, what a banger! Special mention to Steven Battelle (LostAlone), who joins them on guitar for this track.

A stellar performance.

On enchaîne avec le second groupe de la soirée, et non des moindres : L.S. Dunes, un véritable supergroupe ! En effet, il est composé de membres de My Chemical Romance, Circa Survive ou encore Saosin. Rien que ça !

Venu tout droit de Chicago, ils balancent leur post-hardcore/emo à une salle qui compte déjà de nombreux fans.

L’Olympia s’embrase au fil des morceaux. Le chanteur Anthony Green parvient à faire s’élever la foule grâce à son énergie et à sa folie communicative : un vrai frontman ! Il n’hésite d’ailleurs pas à descendre dans la fosse, pour le plus grand bonheur des premiers rangs.

On assiste à quelques crowd surfings durant le set.

Et parlons-en, de ce set : d’une intensité et d’une énergie à toute épreuve, il est composé de morceaux issus du premier album comme du dernier. Les 45 minutes de show sont parfaitement exécutées. Le son est lourd, ça joue fort, très fort !

Le morceau « Grey Veins » est d’une efficacité redoutable en live. Quel tube ! À noter également la présence de Steven Battelle (LostAlone), venu jouer de la guitare sur ce morceau.

Une très belle performance.

Now, it’s time for the night’s headliner: Rise Against.

From the moment they step on stage, the crowd is already won over.

The energy is high, and the audience is fired up!

They open with “Satellite“, one of the standouts in their discography. The band is in top form and clearly thrilled to be back with their French fans. The feeling is mutual, the pit turns into a full-on communion.

Despite the moshing and crowd surfing, there’s an unmistakable sense of camaraderie.

No gimmicks, no frills, just the band, the lights, and a raw, electrifying performance.
The setlist pulls from most of their albums, much to the fans’ delight. The sound is top-notch, as it always is in this legendary venue.

After a solid run of punk rock anthems, the mood shifts for an acoustic moment.

“Hero of War” and “Prayer of the Refugee” take on a whole new dimension in this stripped-down version, just guitar and vocals in some parts.

A beautiful interlude before diving back into an electric encore.

The grand finale, of course, comes with the song everyone’s been waiting for: “Savior“.

The entire venue explodes, from the pit to the balconies!

Dès leur arrivée sur scène, la salle semble déjà conquise.

L’ambiance est festive, et le public est chauffé à blanc !

Le show débute avec « Satellite », un morceau phare de leur discographie. Le groupe semble en grande forme et ravi de retrouver son public français. Et c’est réciproque : la fosse se transforme en une véritable communion.

Malgré les pogos et les crowd surfings, une atmosphère conviviale se dégage de l’ensemble.

Pas de fioritures dans la mise en scène : le groupe et les lumières suffisent à assurer le spectacle.

La setlist pioche dans la plupart des albums du groupe, pour le plus grand plaisir des fans.

Le son est excellent, comme souvent dans cette magnifique salle.

Après un enchaînement de morceaux punk rock, vient un moment acoustique.

Seront notamment interprétés « Hero of War » et « Prayer of the Refugee ». Ces titres prennent une autre dimension dans leur plus simple appareil : guitare-voix pour certains.

Une jolie parenthèse avant de repartir sur un rappel électrique.

Le final en apothéose se fait, évidemment, sur LE tube que tout le monde attend : « Savior ».

C’est la folie dans la fosse comme aux balcons !
