Le Trabendo was shaking to the pulse of a night fueled by modern metal and raw energy. For the Paris stop of their Abyss Pt. II tour, Annisokay shared the stage with The Narrator and Heart of a Coward, making for a lineup as heavy as it was perfectly balanced.

Le Trabendo a vibré au rythme d’une soirée placée sous le signe du metal moderne et de l’énergie brute. Pour cette date parisienne de la tournée Abyss Pt. II, Annisokay était accompagné de The Narrator et Heart of a Coward, formant un plateau aussi dense que cohérent .

The Narrator — An Explosive Opening

The night kicked off with Le Trabendo only half full, but from the very first notes, The Narrator, a German outfit, grabbed everyone’s attention. Their massive sound, somewhere between metalcore and post-hardcore, was a pleasant surprise. Not many in the crowd seemed to know them, but it didn’t take long for things to heat up: the first headbangs, a few mosh movements, and a contagious wave of energy spread through the room. I honestly didn’t expect them to hit this hard, the best kind of opener, the one that turns curious listeners into new fans.

The Narrator — une ouverture explosive 

La soirée débute devant un Trabendo encore en demi-capacité. Mais dès les premières notes, The Narrator, groupe allemand, capte l’attention. Leur son massif, entre metalcore et post-hardcore, surprend agréablement. Peu de spectateurs les connaissaient, mais la salle s’échauffe vite : premiers headbangs, quelques mouvements de foule, et une énergie communicative. Je ne m’attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi bien : c’est souvent le signe d’une première partie réussie, celle qui transforme les curieux en fans potentiels.

Heart of a Coward — A Triumphant Comeback

Next up were Heart of a Coward, the British heavyweights Paris hadn’t seen in a long while. From the very first notes, the tone was set: pounding rhythms, crushing riffs, and vocals that hit like a sledgehammer. The band delivered an all-out, no-breaks, high-intensity set rooted in modern hardcore. The pits opened up, bodies were flying, and the heat in the room spiked fast. Even though the venue wasn’t quite packed yet, you could tell things were about to get wild. The crowd’s energy shot through the roof, perfectly primed for what was coming next.

Heart of a Coward — retour en force 

Place ensuite à Heart of a Coward, les Britanniques que les Parisiens n’avaient pas vus depuis longtemps. Dès l’intro, le ton est donné : rythmique martiale, voix puissantes, riffs écrasants. Le groupe balance une prestation ultra physique, sans répit, typée hardcore moderne. Les pits s’ouvrent, ça saute dans tous les sens, la température grimpe. Même sans que la salle soit encore totalement pleine, on sent déjà que la soirée va devenir intense. L’ambiance monte d’un cran, le public est chauffé à blanc pour la suite.

Annisokay — Catharsis and Visual Power

Then the lights go out. Screens flicker to life. Annisokay hit the stage in a burst of electricity. The German metalcore powerhouse, now firmly established on the European scene, came ready to make a statement, bringing a rare level of production for a venue like Le Trabendo: multiple screens, syncopated visuals, and a fully immersive atmosphere.

The set kicked off with Into the Abyss, an instant explosion. The sound was massive, and with the venue now packed, the crowd screamed every chorus back at the band. During Never Enough, the vocalist climbed onto the barricade, standing face-to-face with the audience, screaming out every ounce of emotion and creating a moment of pure connection. The energy was so contagious that even the casual onlookers dove into the pit.

The 17-song setlist flowed between fresh cuts from Abyss Pt. II and the fan favorites that helped define the band’s sound. Good Stories hit the nostalgia button hard, sung in unison by the entire crowd. Ultraviolet, Like a Parasite, and Coma Blue stood out as emotional peaks, equal parts visceral intensity and cathartic release.

The band played with razor-sharp precision and commanding stage presence. Every track was backed by striking visuals, every drop engineered to make the room move. You could feel the chemistry onstage, a mix of confidence, passion, and pure joy in performing.

After STFU, the final detonation, Annisokay took a long bow before a sweaty, ecstatic crowd. The encore, three songs of absolute power, sealed the night.

 Annisokay — catharsis et puissance visuelle 

Puis les lumières s’éteignent. Les écrans s’allument. Annisokay entre sur scène dans une ambiance électrique. Le groupe allemand, désormais bien installé sur la scène metalcore européenne, a décidé de marquer le coup avec une scénographie impressionnante, chose rare pour le Trabendo : écrans multiples, visuels syncopés, atmosphère immersive. 

Le concert s’ouvre sur Into the Abyss : ça explose directement. Le son est massif, la salle enfin pleine hurle chaque refrain. Dès Never Enough, le chanteur s’avance sur les barricades, debout face à la foule, pour hurler toute sa rage et partager un vrai moment de communion. L’énergie est telle que même ceux venus par curiosité finissent par pogoter. 

La setlist de 17 titres navigue entre les nouvelles compositions de Abyss Pt. II et les classiques qui ont fait connaître le groupe. Good Stories ravit les fans de la première heure un moment de nostalgie partagée, repris en choeur par tout le Trabendo. Ultraviolet, Like a Parasite et Coma Blue font partie des sommets émotionnels du concert, entre intensité viscérale et refrains cathartiques. 

Le groupe joue avec une maîtrise scénique impressionnante : chaque morceau est soutenu par des visuels puissants, chaque drop est calculé pour faire bouger la foule. Les musiciens semblent portés par une vraie complicité et une sincère envie d’en découdre. 

Après STFU, ultime explosion, le groupe salue longuement un public transpirant mais comblé. Un Encore encore marqué par 3 morceaux d’une qualité incroyable.

Le Trabendo, often criticized for its tricky acoustics, turned tonight into a cocoon of light and decibels. I walked out genuinely surprised, I used to listen to Annisokay back in high school, never imagining they’d hit this hard live. But on stage, everything shifts: the sound, the presence, the sincerity. The band delivered a complete performance, a perfect balance of technical precision and emotional release.

Le Trabendo, souvent critiqué pour son acoustique capricieuse, s’est transformé ce soir en cocon de décibels et de lumière. J’en ressors surpris : j’écoutais Annisokay au lycée sans imaginer qu’ils seraient aussi percutants sur scène. Mais en live, tout prend une autre dimension : le son, la présence, la sincérité. Le groupe a livré une prestation totale, entre maîtrise technique et lâcher-prise émotionnel.
