2:30 PM – Alea Jacta Est Arrives Fashionably Late

Alea Jacta Est, a band I’d been eagerly waiting to see in Paris for years, finally arrived about 30 minutes late. Having played in another city the previous night, they had to juggle travel fatigue and a tight schedule. But as soon as they stepped into the venue, their professionalism and energy took over. They jumped straight into soundcheck, catching up quickly, and you could tell they were ready to leave everything on the stage that night.

L’excitation monte doucement : Alea Jacta Est et Stinky, deux groupes liés par une belle complicité, s’apprêtent à partager une scène parisienne qui s’annonce survoltée. Les deux groupes, qui ont joué ensemble la veille dans une autre ville, arrivent avec un peu de retard, mais cela n’entame en rien l’ambiance positive qui s’installe rapidement.

14h30 – Alea Jacta Est arrive avec un léger retard

Alea Jacta Est, que j’attendais avec impatience depuis des années à Paris, arrive enfin à La Bellevilloise. Le retard, dû à leur concert de la veille et au trajet, est vite oublié lorsqu’ils s’installent rapidement pour les balances. Professionnels et efficaces, ils rattrapent le temps perdu sans sacrifier à leur préparation. Dès ces premiers moments, on ressent leur envie de donner le meilleur d’eux-mêmes sur scène ce soir.

Having already played together the night before, the two bands reconnected instantly, sharing laughs and stories about life on tour. Discussions about music, racing, and personal passions flowed naturally, setting a friendly and collaborative tone for the evening.

Stinky arrive à son tour, dans une ambiance détendue et joviale. Ayant également joué la veille, ils affichent une énergie communicative. L’atmosphère entre les deux groupes est tout de suite complice : les discussions sur la musique, la tournée, et même les passions hors musique comme les courses automobiles, rythment l’après-midi. Ces moments partagés renforcent l’idée que cette soirée sera bien plus qu’un simple concert.

Alea Jacta Est is at the heart of her project, and she skillfully captured powerful moments of focus, connection, and raw emotion. But Angelle’s passion for her craft drove her to broaden her scope, immersing herself in the energy of Stinky and documenting their preparation and set. Her artistic eye elevated the unique vibe of the day, turning fleeting moments into lasting memories.

Conversations jumped from music to photography, travel, and even car racing. You could feel the connection between Alea Jacta Est and Stinky growing stronger, promising a night that would be as unforgettable offstage as it was onstage.

8:00 PM – Stinky Kicks Things Off

Stinky took the stage first, unleashing a wave of energy that hit the crowd like a hurricane. The opening notes of Down in the Dumps sent the room into a frenzy, with the audience headbanging and throwing themselves into the music. Les circle pits se multiplient, et l’atmosphère devient électrique.

Le public, déjà bien chauffé , redouble d’intensité pendant des morceaux comme From Silence I Rise et Enough is Enough. Chaque riff, chaque cri, semble repousser les limites de l’énergie collective. Veni Vidi Vici résonne comme un cri de guerre, et les fans répondent avec une ferveur incroyable. L’ambiance atteint son paroxysme avec Today You Die, où les slams se succèdent, des spectateurs montant sur scène pour plonger dans une foule en délire.
